Uma was the perfect cut for the perfect Urban Portrait Shot. Let me explain why:
First let me introduce her: Uma is from California but her parents are from Iran. For that reason, Uma has that exotic Persian beauty that becomes in a model different.
First, let me introduce you to her: Uma was born in California but her parents were born in Iran. We can see indeed Uma’s exotic Persian beauty, which is unique in a model.
She is a happy camper. Funny and simple girl. What I like the most about her is that she is not shy in front of the camera.
We met at the corner of Hollywood and Highland for the session. This is a very touristic area. Many people walk around and it is almost impossible to set any photography equipment for a session. Therefore, I just used a camera in my hand, just as a tourist guy would.
But, with a lot of people around us, any model may feel uncomfortable and the poses can look very forced. However, this didn’t happen to Uma. She showed her professionalism and did not care people were watching her.
Uma posed for my camera as if nobody were there. I could use any scenery of the street all along. We also took some pictures at the entrance of the Dolphy theater. In this particular case, it is too hard to take a photo without anyone else on it. We just had to be very patient.
In short, I am so happy with this session and with Uma. She proved to be very professional and that shows on the pictures.
Who says you need to be in a private place to get better pictures? In this Urban Portrait Shot, I show you why. Hope you enjoy it!
